About Release Notes
This document is intended to present a summary of changes since the previously released version of O-Calc Pro (version 7.0.1.7). It identifies new features and functions as well as changes to existing features and functions. It alerts users to changes that may alter the use of the product and may require particular attention or specific actions.
For details about changed features and functions, users are referred to the O-Calc Pro User Guide within the Help menu and other documentation available at our O-Calc Pro Wiki and YouTube sites.
New/Updated Features
- Add a new attribute called ‘Trim to Terminal’ to the Spans object. This new attribute facilitates the modeling of spacer cable construction by allowing the user to trim the end of a span at a user selected point.
- O-Calc Pro Help and User Documentation has been moved to our new website at https://www.osmose.com/o-calc/help.
Defect Corrections
- Corrected an issue where if a batch report is created using a PPLX file that does not properly calculate the batch report hangs up. O-Calc pro now adds a wait timer to allow for longer calculation times and will skip the offending file and notify the user to correct any persisting issue.
- Corrected an error that occurred in the LCI Plugin when a user attempted to move a multipole structure. Multipole Structures are now able to be moved using the LCI tools options.
- Corrected an issue where line designs were not recalculating when certain editing operations were made. O-Calc Pro now runs a new pole calculation for each new edit is made, provided auto-analysis is enabled.
- Corrected an issue when a pole may not be calculated when a large offset is applied to a crossarm extension. O-Calc Pro will now notify the user of an offset that will cause structural issues with the pole.
- Corrected an error that prevented substituted poles from being saved.
