Managing Catalogs

One of the central concepts in O-Calc Pro is the use of the catalog. The catalog stores assemblies, stores objects, stores the components that you uses to build up your pole model and perform your analysis. While O-Calc Pro offers numerous catalogs for download, it may not be convenient to have all.

Creating Custom Loadcases

The O-Calc Pro Master Catalog features an extensive list of components that can be included in a pole model. Downloading Catalogs

Setting Administrative Permission

Within the O-Calc Pro application, a variety of features are made available to a user. These available features are linked, in part, to the user level that is assigned. To determine what user level you have been assigned, simply open the application and check the status in the bottom left-hand corn.

Initially, O-Calc Pro has a Master Catalog and a User Catalog available to the user. The User catalog allows the user to store poles, assemblies and individual components that are used frequently. Any items added to the User catalog should be saved automatically and available every time the applica.

In O-Calc there are a number of options available to customize the tension on a span. These options can be found by selecting a span, and selecting the Tension Sag filter in the Data Entry Window.
